Physical Description: Maria has long black hair that goes down past her shoulders. She wears her hair down all the time and it is perfectly straight. Her skin is an unnatural pale as all vampire skin is. Her eyes are a bright crimson due to the fact she hunts humans. Her eyes change from blood red to coal black depending on when the last time she hunted. She wears contacts around humans when she wants to interact with them. She hates to wear the contacts and usually wears a brown colored contact as this color was her original eye color and it hides her bright red eyes the best. She is inhuman beautiful and graceful even if she is just is standing or sitting.
Maria usually wears dark colored outfits. She likes to wear dresses, but occasionally she wears jeans and t-shirt. She doesn't hide her skin much she feels as if it hides who she really is. When around humans she tries to be more careful about the way she dresses and hides her pale icy skin. She tries not to touch others when she is in a crowd as her skin is ice cold. She has an average body and is a bit small and looks like she couldn't defend herself. But as she is a vampire she has inhuman strength and speed. She never shows this around humans though.

Psychological
Personality: Maria is a stubborn person and isn't pushed around. She is usually not upset easily but when she is her temper can break through her calm face. She prefers to be by herself and doesn't have much of a relationship even with her own kind. She does often long to have others around her but often pushes them away. When around others (vampire or human) she is easy to talk to, but doesn't let things get to personal. She will joke around and is easy going. When she feels like she's had enough of a certain area or people she moves to another location. Even though she drinks human blood she can with stand being around there company.
Maria is a very guarded person when it comes to showing emotions. She doesn't like others to take pity on her and is a serious person. But she can always joke around and make conversation light. She doesn't let anyone know her true feelings often putting on a fake act of being happy. She is immortal and has lived for over a two hundred years she wonders what point is there. Why she must keep on living never sleeping, never dying, perfect in every physical sense. She wishes she had a chance to be mortal once again and feels that if she is around humans maybe she could act like she was them. Even though she likes being around humans she had no problem with drinking their blood.
Strengths: Maria is very aware of her surroundings picking up everything making sure it is safe for her to be around. She keeps her thirst in constant check and often hunts during the night around other cities other than the one she is staying at. She is very graceful and strong as all vampires are. She is also very fast, faster than most vampires. She also keeps her emotions guarded and acts carefree and happy around others.
Weaknesses: She is actually a very miserable vampire. She has lived for so long and been alone with no one around she wonders why she must keep living. She is also a stubborn person and has a bit of a temper. She longs for a normal human life and tries to interact with humans to make this somewhat possible. She often has to worry about her thirst keeping it in check especially if she is around humans.
Special Abilities: She is faster than most vampires and has the ability to create illusions. Her illusions can vary from being in pitch black unable to see anything to making someone think they are in a far off place like a desert. She only has about a half mile radius as to who she can show illusions to. The closer she is the more realistic her illusion will appear. She is able to hold an illusion for a few days, but depended on how much detail is in the illusion will depend on how long she can actually hold it. But the longer she holds it the more tired she gets and it takes a few hours for her to use her power again. She doesn't use illusions often. Occasionally when she hunts she plays with the human showing them scenes to either calm or scare them before she sinks her teeth into them.
Historical
History: Maria Lovell was borin in 1758 in London, England. Her father was a wealthy man and was in the army as a general. She had the basic of life a young girl, as she was girl she wasn't expected to learn anything just the essentails of a girl. As that was how it was during her time. She would sneak occasionally learning to read and write, but not enough to fully understand. Her father moved their family outside of London to a small area of land where there laid a huge mansion. She loved it here being able to go out into the woods freely often her father would make her stay indoors and under his watch. He couldn't watch her often he was still a high ranking general and that left her mother and severants/guards to watch her as she explored the outside world.
She had turned eighteen just a few weeks prior and was on her normal routine of traveling through the woods she would bring paper and a writing untinsil she was a very creative artist. She would stay out for hours drawing scences of nature. But this particlar day was going to be her last. She had settled by a nearby stream listening to it's cool rhythm. She watched the wildlife, bugs, frogs, as they went along there life unaware of her. She heard the sounds of someone approching assuming it was one of the guards checking her she continued to draw. It wasn't until cold, much to cold for humans, more like icy hands gripped her shoulder did she let out a scream. The person covered her mouth and sinked his teeth into her throat. She didn't know what happened next. The guards had come to assit Maria, but the monster moved on not letting them even get a good glimpse of him. They carried her home and called the docotor. He had never seen anything like this it had to be some sort of illness, he made everyone leave her afraid it would spread.
She came from cousiness ot uncousniess only knowing the burning pain that fled through her body. She felt like she was on fire a burning fire that would not stop. She heard her mother's pleas to make her pain to go away to allow her to see her daughter. She couldn't focus long enough to hear the reply her pain was unbearable. She screamed at first but it was no good she held her screams focusing on the burning pain. She felt herself changing she could pick of faint sounds from downstairs. The fire was stopping and when it did she snapped her eyes open. She could hear the delicate heartbeats of a guard outside of the room she was in. The thumping made her throat burn she opened the door. The guard was suprised and then horrified as she sunk her teeth into his throat. This wasn't enough for her the constant sounds of heartbeats surronded her making her unable to stop her hunt.
She relized what she was after she ran from her mansion she had killed so many so fast. She was vampire. Sure she had heard legneds of them, but didn't think it was true. She would hunt at night she noticed that in sunlight her skin sparkled like dimonds. She couldn't seem to satisfy her thirst for years. Eventually she came to some self-control and was even able to be around humans. She found other vampries, but did not stay with them prefering to be on her own. She noticed that she was able to give other illisions this suprised her. She played with the humans she hunted understanding her stange power.
She travled the world trying to understand more of what she was decades went by. She was able to fully read and write unlike her human form she was intelligent. She read legned after legend trying to grasp what she was. How long had it been ten, fifty, hundred years since she fled her home? She went back to England she found her mansion deserted left with no trace of human scent. She stays in her mansion during the day and at night and when the cloudy days come she goes off into London. She longs to be human again she questions why she much be immortal. She continues to hunt humans, but often goes to small towns if possible.

Sample RP: Maria ran quietly through the dampen woods. It had just rained leaving the forest in a fog not that this bothered her. The sun was just beginning to set. She slowed to a walking pace as she came to the edge of an unsuspecting town. Quietly she made her way to the dark road and leaned against the stone wall of a building. The town itself looked rather old or maybe it was just the fact she was in a bad section of town. She watched as people hurried there way home trying to make it before the sun completely set.
She was as still as a statue watching the humans with longing eyes. Such pathetic lives rushing all the time, but she would trade anything to have it. She sighed as hardly anyone was on the streets. She got into her hunting stance she closed her eyes letting the smells and sounds make her more aware of everything. She could hear the pounding heart of a human just one pair of footsteps he was alone. She smiled as she quietly made her way to him. He was walking away from the town to a deserted area how nice of him.
She hadn’t used any illusions in quite some time she focused on a scene. Her eyes glazed over as she watched the man with his reaction. He stopped his heart pounded the scene in his head was that of a dark room a candle lit the area showing very little of the walls. She formed the walls making them look old no windows no doors just that one candle sitting on a table near the wall. She made her way toward him sinking her teeth into his throat.
She hunted a few more, but decided that was enough for a while at least. She walked back into the woods making her way back to London, England her home for now.
