Ares Lusitani was not one for unneeded human contact. She remained in the hills of England, prefering to keep to herself in her small cottage than in the bustling city of London with all the posh voices threatening to send her into the asylum. They sounded to hoity-toity for her liking, so she generally avoided them. So how she found herself in the big city of London was a bit of a mystery for the vampire. After a day lazing about in the sun, storm clouds had covered the sky and Ares had become unbearably restless. She'd changed out of her sundress into jeans and a hoodie, not bothering with a shirt beneath the hoodie because she wouldn't be taking it off. A few moments before she entered the cottage, a light hum had caught her attention and it was more than likely what had spurred her to London. But the hum had quickly teetered out to a sad sound, disappointed. For now, she didn't have any dirty work to take care of.
Her smooth gait was unhurried and unworried even as humans swarmed around her. A few actually got close enough to bump against her, but she could tell it was unintentional. High above their heads, the sky decided it was time to open up and share its goods with everyone. Rain smattered against her face as she turned her gaze upward. She smiled as all around her the humans scattered for cover. A little water never hurt anyone. It certainly wasn't going to melt them. She held out her palm and cupped the water in it, watching as a small puddle formed in the bowl she'd created. Soon, Ares was mainly alone in the street. Cars revved past, and a few people still scurried about in the rain, but many were under overhangs or within the many shops that lined the streets. Ares decided to cut her luck and duck into the nearest shop. The small shop was nearly empty, with only one other man in the shop and an elderly woman behind the counter. The overwhelming scent of chocolate was intoxicating. Ares had never tasted chocolate, but it had always interested her. She lifted her gaze from a row of truffles and smiled at the young man who was across from her. She indicated the truffles with a small smile. "Are these any good?"

Maria was outside in the woods close to where she stayed. She looked up at the sky and smiled today was going to cloudy and probably rain. How long had it been since she last visited London during the day she wonder briefly making her way happily toward the large city. She smelled the humans her throat burned, but it was bearable. She had hunted just a couple nights before.
She walked closely to the shadows of the buildings as a habit. Even though it was cloudy she didn’t want to take any chances. She had even dressed in a long black dress with a grey sweater to cover her arms and legs. She had her brown contacts in to cover her bright red eyes to help make her eyes look more human.
She heard the rumble of thunder as it started to rain. She smiled watching the humans running for cover. She was longing to be human once again watching them stop what they were doing and hide from the rain. She didn’t bother getting out of the rain it didn’t bother her and she was enjoying being London during the day. She looked at the sky and smiled it was going to stay cloudy for some time.
She noticed a different scent among the smell of humans, a vampire. She hadn’t really had any contact with any vampires in quite some time. She followed the scent it came to small shop. Maria could smell the human food as she made her way closer to the shop. She walked in soaking wet from the rain she didn’t even bother drying herself before she came in. She smelled the air looking at the vampire she didn’t say anything just looked her curiously.
