Matheya Magdalene Myleen
Basic Information
Name: Matheya Myleen
Apparent Age: 20
Actual Age: 158
Diet: Vegetarian
Clan: Aistheta
Physical
Physical Description:
Matheya's hair can appear dark brown, but in light, slight blond and red natural highlights are visible. One of her fellow vampires from her clan even once teased her that not only do her eyes change according to the level of her hunger, but that her hair does the same. Of course, that's not the truth, though her hair can shine in various similar tones to it's true color, her hair still is mostly just brown. Her hair is also mostly wavy or mildly curly, but she also can tend to get annoyed of how untamed her hair is and completely straighten it out, though her waves and curls always come back. When it comes to hairstyles it also depends and varies, though it's a higher chance you'll see her hair flowing freely than being tamed with a bun or a ponytail, though she does changes hairstyles when necessary and when she wants to.
Her eyes used to be quite different than ordinary even when she was a human. Their usual brown-hazel shine often shined in green tones and at light even golden-brown, which served useful to her later, since her transformation to a vampire was actually only slightly visible. Her skin tone was very pale and white even before, and though she wasn't the most perfect of all girls and women, she did carry a certain flavor of beauty and sweetness. Her sweet girly appearance, from her face to her body did change after her transformation though, making her body look more exotic and alluring to men, and her face truly flawless and passionate, showing also her more mysterious side other than that naive sweetness her expression held while she was a human girl. Though only the lines of her cheekbones and her nose changed a slight bit during the transformation, it did a great affect to her face, making it still hard to see the real change to people that didn't know her very well.
Her eyes are now carrying the color of liquid gold, rarely change to their darker, black as the midnight sky color, since she takes good care of being well fed and almost never fall to temptation of hunger, lingering to almost madness, as other vampires let their hunger rule them, she learned quite well trough time how well balanced thirst and feeding can be better for her rather than hungering herself from death.
Her face is oval shaped, her eyes wide and large, but can appear cat-like, her nose is thin, her lips full and cheeks rarely carried any scent of flushing since her transformation, unless she herself used blush make-up. Was the new life she carried so hard that the eager call for her blood to come to her cheeks unavailable, or was it simply due to the fact vampires don't blush, people don't know, though she rarely even notices small details like that about herself. She tended to think blushing revealed a person's weakness, leaving his or hers feelings stripped and revealed, so her hard life truly did harden certain corners of her heart. Her height is now slightly taller than it was when she was a human girl, holding herself up at the height of 5'6'' feet. Her body does look exotic and appealing, but in a mild soft way so she still seems gentle and fragile, though that's hardly the description of her strength. Due to that, vampires used to tell her it's a shame she doesn't drink human blood, since she would be an excellent hunter for their species simply for the fact she'd be an excellent bate., though the thought of drinking human blood repulses her.

Psychological
Personality:
As a vampire...
Matheya is very obviously very mature for her appearing age. Well, at least comparing how girls her age act in the 21st century, since not only was she more maturely raised at the age of 20 in her time while being a human, but also in the long time of being a vampire she has lived trough many harsh, but also learning times, carving her with lies, pain, struggles and fallen hopes, to a cautious, elegant, self-confident and very intelligent woman. During her vampire life, if it can be called life at all, Matheya's personality certainly hardened slightly since the years of experience at life taught her many things. From how to handle pain to how to avoid it. Even while being a vampire she went trough hard times and unexceptance, so she certainly does carry invisible scares on her soul, making her too wary or emotional at time, but mostly she keeps her grip, holding a strong and elegant mask across how she really feels. She only reveals her true feelings to rare people. Graceful, loyal, creative and kind, even still amusing are her virtues that still can't help but to radiate from her, even trough her miseries. Even though her manners and personality is slightly more different than of human girls her age, she blends in easily, and uses any chance to live life trough the best as she can. Once people (and other creatures) get to know her, they see that behind her mysterious dark mask she is actually a very soft cheerful person.
When she was a human...
Matheya was a lively, cheerful, spirit-free girl. She was raised to be a well mannered young woman, to obey others, to extend her knowledges and use all of her talents. Trough her childhood her abilities of living were often limited, since she mostly was just reading and studying when other girls played outside. She was very creative since very young age, always tending to back away to her own world and create, not mattering what others said. When she was sad, disappointed, pushed away, she would create, sing, write, draw or dance, all arts were her favorite. But only at edge of her childhood, at the beginning of puberty did her true talents at music start expressing themselves. She was forced to learn piano playing by her parents, but after it turned into quite a hard obligation it became a pain to her. Though music certainly left and impact on her, and alter her talent at singing was discovered. She truly respected music, and it meant everything to her, other than writing and reading. Drawing was also a talent she developed later on, trough lonely, boring afternoons, while she was left at her room, as a prison to the outside world. Only in her own world of creation was she free, was she unlimited.
Strengths:
She is very fast and graceful, so she's able to move and avoid things very quickly and very swiftly. She is also very cautious and careful, she senses danger quickly and will react to it immediately, if the danger means damage to the ones she cares about, or to her, but she usually prefers thinking things trough, and hates recklessness. She is also very kind and polite, to almost any of the races, human, werewolf or vampires. Most vampires tend to develop a certain dislike to species other than their, but Matheya is very open when it comes to that. She does act suspicious around werewolves, and senses them easily, but she isn't as hostile or rude toward them like other vampires. She also likes to take each situation calmly and as positively as she can. Of course, she does tend to think firstly of the worst consequences, but she thinks that panicking is always the worst wax possible to solve or win anything. She is also very creative, so solving problems is never to hard to her, she always has some kind of a plan for each problem.
Weaknesses:
She can be very stubborn and suspicious at times, trusting only herself. It takes time to earn her trust, and trough all that time she might act as a complete stranger, though, but she actually is always very pleasant and tries to always be kind and polite. After her transformation and her improvement, her self-confidence grew slightly, but there are still times that aren't rare in which she feel doubtful about herself and it can affect her choice and others as well. Her feelings are surprisingly easily hurt, and if she doesn't show her emotions right away, it will gather in her until once all she carried inside bursts out, was that rage, sadness or even love.
Special Abilities:
Sensing emotions. She is able to sense emotions of people around her. She can't read their thoughts or control their emotions but is very well in sensing them and people's intentions simply by the way they feel. She only uses this power when necessary, though, since she thinks invading in someone's privacy, such as in someone's emotions, is completely unsuitable and none of other's business, unless that person, of course. Though when encountering enemies, it does serve her well.
Historical
History:
Matheya was born at a small, but still well known town, near London, England on a sunny day of the 24th of July, 1850. As the only child to her parents, it was as if all the other strengths and talents, also the excitements and virtues that any other children in their family would have, were passed to her, but unfortunately also all the high expectations, all the flaws and all the limitations. Her parents were very strict and protective over her, which suffocated a free spirit such as hers.
The strictness of her parents and how they often pointed out how disappointed they were at her for the simplest things she did, she maintained a kind spirit and a cheerful character. That girl's laughter was able to lighten up the skies even when tears poured from her eyes. Always a hope shone inside her, of a better world. And eventually when all of her talents formed to more formal versions of it, from singing childish family songs, to learning soprano singing, from silly childish drawings, to passionate landscape drawings (she was always somehow better at landscapes than at people, though she was well at drawing details on people's faces like eyes and lips), and from writing adorable little amusing songs for children to writing poetry of her true pain, also her love toward literature and reading deepened.
Once she indeed read almost all the books her household had, she explored more, as brave and reckless as she was and discovered a book of mythical creatures in her father's room. It was than when she fell in love with those legends and stories. Of dragons chasing the skies in ancient times, creatures that ended up as a mixture of an animal and a human, of humans having ability to shape-shift to animals and of those perfect, flawless people that held a terrible curse to themselves; burning inside with passion for human blood. Of course, stories like that sparked out the already creative, but so far limited imagination of this normal 19th century girl, and she hid her passion toward exploring about all those creatures very well trough a long period of time.
But on her 18th birthday, her father wanted to give her a gift, one of the other books he kept at the secret compartment at the very bookshelf where she found the mysterious book, and he saw that this particular book he hid for so long was missing. Her father actually also explored of those creatures and ended up with falling in love with a beautiful female vampire, though when she miss-used his trust and love and attempted to kill him, he ran away, leaving her for the villagers to slay. Matheya's mother was often jealous of the woman, hating the very mention of the story, because she thought her husband still loved the vampire mistress, and it wasn't far from the truth.
The 19th century wasn't a time where issues like vampires and werewolves were blank, but it was all ignored and all the traces of them swept away,y while the truth was it was one of the most flourished time for those two, who knows if others as well, species. Matheya's parents kept her prisoned to only her household and small town for that very reason, barely even even letting her leave the house, and once her father realized that the secret has been shown to his only daughter he raged. He threatened her severely and hit her, while her mother watched her disappointed and with disgust. It was than, when she fought between stopping her tears and being able to began breathing again, when Matheya was full of everything, of all limitations. She escaped few moths after, to her aunt at London. In her town, her parents toled everyone that she went crazy and was sent to her aunt for some care to gain back her psychical strength, hiding the true story behind it.
Though while all of her hometown thought she was crazy, her aunt never really approved the opinions of her sister and took Matheya happily to her home. It was in London where Matheya explored more about vampires, her imagination and abilities, once trapped and suddenly set loose, desperately passioning for new discoveries. She even managed to meet a vampire and a vampire who sworn to eternal love. He was only young by appearance but well trained to avoid human blood if needed. Matheya was bewildered by him and wished he would turn her into a vampire, but he refused that.
Though one night that turned her entire destiny around, was when he got a little too far, forcing her for affections of her love she than discovered were too much for her and wished not to show yet. Furious of that, he attacked her, she wasn't able to escape his strong body, but except using her for body lust he did a different violation, much more pleasurable to him. He only bit her tender pale neck, leaving her with so little blood she barely breathed, and so many vampire venom, it made her hard to breath, feeling away than. Left weak, she still survived, and the large amount of venom made the transformation she was going to suffer trough slightly more faster.
Crippled, almost lifeless, she lay on the ground at the edge of that alley for days, no one ever came there, no one noticed, but after two days one newspaper boy noticed the body of a young woman laying at the deserted alley, though when people rushed there, the body was gone. But gone to only so far that she stood few feet away from them, without them noticing her. Beginning a new, different life, she left the two places that cursed her forever, her hometown, and London both, escaping to this little town. The thirst she felt barely kept her going, but yet gave her additional energy. With such weak spirit, the leader of the Aistheta clan, Helena DeFlavis found her and took care for here, teaching her to feed herself with only animal blood and took care of her until she was fully able to move on further with both physical and mental strength all gained back.
Than she continued her new life, moving from several places, traveling around the world. The only thing that kept her alive tough her truly empty years. Other than her clan she had no friends, no family, and the very thought of returning to her family was a sting to her heart to her. Even though it stopped beating, it felt the rage toward the people that were partially responsible for the life she bared now. Though the sorrow toward her worried aunt still grasped her, for she was the only person that offered her comfort, shelter and a warm embrace. Few years after her disappearance, once she recovered to move normally, she visited London again, finding her aunt's home again. Her aunt was desperate and sick, a picture with "MISSING" saying on it and a smiled face of a lovely young girl, maybe 18, no more than 20, her eyes still seemed alive and filled with life, as she set in a chair, clearly so broken, but still so graceful and enthusiastic. The picture took breathe out of Matheya's lungs, even though vampires don't need air, it still hurt her.
Matheya wished to come back, but her new vampire fellows stopped her, because she will pay the cost with her life if anyone should find out she was still alive. Her aunt died out of old age, though she wasn't that old, and a severe illness only two years after that. Matheya was at her funeral, dressed in black, hidden. Her face was still shown over the light black veil, and her mother saw her. Taking that once glance, her eyes stopped on the eyes of a young woman, clearly finding resemblance to her long lost daughter, but she quickly than looked away. Matheya could've guessed what she thought: "I won't let those dark spirits to capture me and my sanity as they captured my daughter's and my husband's." , she didn't need a mind reading ability to see that. How ironic. It made her laugh.
Than she continued her life of traveling, changing many jobs and places of residing, using all her talents and fulfilling her wishes as he wished for for all this time, but still. She was never fully happy again, ever. Something was missing in her life and she was just very good in hiding it.

The beginning of the evening was breathtakingly beautiful, so relaxing. People always said how it only worked depressingly on people, that it only woke up the saddest, darkest sides and thoughts in people's minds and hearts, but to Matheya it was enlightening and enchanting. Like a birth of a new day rather than a death of one. She started staring at the milky violet-blue sky as if she was caught in some kind of a lost daydream. The lights in the sky were fading, shifting it's colors with more darker ones, but very slowly, only a careful eye could see a change from how the sky was just a moment ago. Matheya stood at the cliff's edge, with just the perfect view to the world beneath her. There wasn't much breeze, though the air was cold.
Slight tones and lines were spread across the pale sky, sun sending it's beams only to the very low and edged places of the viewed sky, painting it in a passionate tone of orange, close to the color of blood red. The middle area of the sky was wearing a light, so soothing color, that varied from misty blue to mild purple, with gentle streaks of white crossing it, probably traces of clouds, and the very tops of the sky, at least to until a human eye had the ability to see it, was already encrusted with a color of dark blue, that was about to embrace the entire sky in a matter of minutes, half and hour mostly, probably. On the earth underneath, light, bright and cheerful lights started lighting everywhere, across the streets of this small town in England, at the Yard paths of the castle-like building that rested near the city, lights decorated almost all of the castle's windows, even at all the towers, even though the sky could still pass as being day not yet quite the night, the lights in almost each windows were on. This was strange to Matheya since she never usually saw much human activity at this particular castle so far.
Matheya sighed, a mild smile still played across her light red lips gently as she tried to not worry of such a silly thing as the sudden inhabiting of the castle-like house, and try to concentrate on something unworrying, shifting her eight to her right leg and tilting her head slightly to the left as well. She felt so tired. Today was quite the busy day for her. She finally ate after a few days, and promised herself she won't make such a silly mistake like letting hunger to grow for almost a week without drinking blood. It was mindless, reckless, and she almost lost control over herself, but even after the hunting at the forest, few miles away from her south-west, and consuming quite an enough deal of a bear's blood, she still felt the tiredness sweeping her away. If she was a human, she'd fell asleep the same instant. It sometimes bothered her, though she was a vampire, she did get tired from time to time, and getting a good night sleep, brushing all the problems away with dreams would be such utter pleasure for her, though she fairly got used to dreamless nights so far. Not that she didn't have nights like that even before her vampire life.
Footsteps were approaching her, but her mind was so calmed down now, so loosened from all thoughts that she didn't even notice. She needed a peaceful moment like that. Though once the person came even more near and started speaking to her. She shook up with surprise and immediately snapped back to reality from her thoughts. It also kind of irritated her for a moment, how her moment of serenity and calmness was ended, but she sighed and decided not to mind. She was used to it.
Once she turned around she spotted a familiar face. It was Jason Burrow and she remembered him well from the last gathering of her clan. She heard of him, he was a new member of Aistheta and they known themselves, even chatted once a few commenting words, but they never officially met. He greeted her and questioned about how come she was here, and she simply smiled, her enchanting gentle smile though still slightly surprised of a sudden interrupting of her peaceful resting. "I was just resting here after hunting a bit." , she confessed, finally turning herself to face the vampire, which seemed quite young, though his true age was probably far from is apparent once. She heard he's new in their family, so she could be mistaking. Slight bit of her power escaped her and she sensed well he was relaxed and happy currently, obviously handling himself well. If he was a vampire for under one year his feelings and behaving would be different. Still, she stayed cautious.
"And how about you, Jason?" , she asked him tilting her head aside once more indeed curious of why he also came around here, her smile never leaving her face. She used to see him around Helena's house, and wondered did he live there permanently since recently, or did she just take him as a new student as she took her once her, than newly gotten, powers stroke her. Jason's manners so far were very pleasant, though, much more mature and more pleasant than behaving of other younger vampires she met. She enjoyed his company, though it was only contained in brief meetings and sightings around Helena's house, that it still almost made her giggle. "I'm Matheya, Myleen quite pleased to met you finally, Jason." , she said extending a pale thin hand for him to shake as an introducing gesture.
