Hey. My name is Waz, and I go by Waz everywhere, so if the name sounds familiar, I've probably met ya.
I'm a fourteen year old (NOT twelve. -glares at Jazz-) and currently reside in Michigan, although I completely resent the weather. It is too unpredictable, and I would MUCH rather live someplace warm and dry, like Arizona, where I would be able to swim and play baseball all year round. Besides baseball, I love Basketball and soccer, and, although i have never tried them out, fencing and tennis seem like so much fun. Too bad my poor community doesn't offer that much.
I am in band, the 1st trombone, and like marching band, and love playing the pieces of music. Anything that is challenging happens to be the most fun. According to a quiz I took, the song that describes my life is "Joy to the World", the Jeremiah was a Bull Frog kind. We played that in band.
I am currently on the first book of the Twilight series, but I figured I knew enough about it from my friends and Izzie telling me things about it that I knew enough to join, along with this being alternate and necessary info being listed on this forum for me.
I am an avid reader, though, and can read for eight hours straight without being interrupted by outside, or natural, forces. I've read Pendragon, Percy Jackson, and Harry potter books, and am willing to read anything else people may suggest.
And, I figure I've bored you enough with the details of my life. So, yeah, that's just a little bit of me.

Fencing is SO much fun! I'd teach you if I lived anywhere nearby, but I don't, so absolutely kills your legs though.

It seems like a load of fun. I need to find some way to fence or else I'll have a feeling of loss. Maybe, just maybe, when I go to Australia and to like their major sports thing down there they will have a fencing thing where I can try it out.
Also, I bet I could take the leg pain. Basketball requires a lot of leg work.

Basketball isn't even half as bad on the legs, trust me, I've done that for a while. nearly squatting to avoid being hit and then literally springing back up and lunging at your opponent REALLY hurts when your coach decides you need to do that fifteen times, just to practice. You legs, the next day do not move at all.

Wow. I guess I was wrong. So, you've played basketball before? How long ago?

Well all that and fencing uses different muscles in a different way. I played basketball when I was your age and it's sooo different @@ Fencing is like. 90% footwork 10% swordsmanship. When I did fencing we used to do 100 lunges right after another while a partner held our blade by the hilt with the tip on the ground and let it fall @@ the training was lunging forward against the ground and catching it as they dropped it. *ponders* I'm trying to think of what series you might like. I think you'd like The Host her other book. It's.. all sci-fi-y with aliens and fun things. Hmm... You might like the Dragonbard series. It's tough to find them... They might just have started reprinting them -- a few years back then went out of print so they were impossible to find. They're still my favorite books in the whole universe @@ They're called... Nightpool, the Ivory Lyre (I think it's ivory) and the Dragonbards written by Shirley Rousseau Murphy. And ew =P Band.

[She has bad memories of marching band] Oh, and I recommend the author, "Dean Koontz" - especially the Moonlight Bay series he wrote...and is still writing. First one is called "Fear Nothing" and the second one is called "Seize the Night". Both amazing. Coldfire is the best thing he wrote in my opinion
